ARTH 2100 Tribal Arts
This course will examine the
indigenous art and architecture of sub Saharan Africa, Native America and the
Pacific. It satisfies World A requirement as well as the Art Theme requirement.

ENG 2301 World Film Studies
Like
watching movies? This course will examine important feature films that are
rarely seen in the United States. It also surveys several national cinemas and
international trends, with particular attention to the increasing globalization
of the film industry. The learning activities in the class will include film
screenings and field trips including to the Hawaii International Film Festival.
The last time we offered this course, it received rave reviews from the
students. This course satisfies Values B as well as the Art Theme requirement.

HIST 2401 American History to 1877
This course
may be a good option for History majors. Also, Dr. Jim Corcoran will be
teaching the course so it will be a fun, engaging and mind enriching course. It
is being offered at Camp Smith on Thursdays.
MARS 1000 Introductory Oceanography
This course is
a good option for the Global A requirement. It is usually only offered online
and students have been requesting for it to be offered in the classroom. It’s
being offered at Pearl on Saturdays.
